As you have read about the long awaited update from Sprint, it’s been quite the perilous road for the Samsung Galaxy S line up of smartphones when it comes to receiving the Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2 update. Luckily, many different iterations of the phone have already received the update but some are still trailing behind. The Samsung Epic 4G, on Sprint, for example which takes the traditional Galaxy S formula but adds in a slide-out QWERTY keyboard has had more problems than other iterations. I received the update Friday the 25th and with a few adjustment I am back up and running with my phone, I have not had any issues unlike the several other people I have seen on the net complaining about instability and small bugs in the new Froyo. I will keep this thread updated with my experience on the new software.
If you have the Galaxy please post up your feedback on how the phone performs for you.
